NLN Nursing Mobility Profile Tests

General Information

The NLN Nursing Mobility Profile tests are used to determine academic adjustments for RNs seeking a BS degree from the San Diego State University (SDSU) School of Nursing. Students must complete the examinations in order to progress in SDSU's RN-BS program. There are three different tests:

Care of the Adult Client (a 4 hour timed test), Care of the Client During Childbearing/Care of the Child (a 4 hour timed test, broken into two parts, some students only need one part) and Care of the Client with Mental Disorder (a 2.5 hour timed test). Students should contact SDSU's School of Nursing at least three weeks in advance of the test date for information on which examinations to take.
